Romain Watson was a bundle of nerves as he exited the Content Gap Primary School in East Rural St Andrew.

The 20-year-old youth ran right up to his mother for hug and exhaled deeply as she rubbed his head.

"I was very nervous," the first time voter told The Gleaner. "But I want a change and I believe the party I voted for will make the difference," he said.

Watson is one of 3,791 new electors added to voters lists since the 2011 polls

The PNP's Imani Duncan Price and the JLP's Juliet Holness, battled for the constituency which has some 36,655 eligible voters, JLP's Holness won.
