MOCA arrests and charges constable

Detectives attached to the Major Organised Crime and Anti Corruption Agency (MOCA) have arrested and charged a police constable for attempting to pervert the course of justice.

He is Constable Chadrick Bowen of the Detention and Courts Division.

His arrest followed a ruling from the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Bowen's charge stems from allegations that he is involved in the illicit drug trade operating out of the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston.

MOCA says it will continue to robustly tackle corruption and disrupt and dismantle all major organised criminal networks and their facilitators.
