Footprints: Keith Richards - Gone, but never to be forgotten
An active member of the postal service for most of his adult life, he resided in the city of London for many years, where he would often unwind by enjoying conversations over a cigar every now and then.
By the age of retirement, he made the change and set sail to Jamaica, living in St Thomas.
While there, he got the opportunity to have his own boat and would go fishing regularly.
Of course, family members and friends were always very happy to consume the fruits of his efforts. He later moved to the beautiful parish of Portland. Functioning there as a farmer with his wife, Ena, he was always on the go, working on one project after the other.
He was a kind and considerate man - whether it was taking doughnuts home for his kids or finding exotic chocolates for his wife, he was always thinking of others.
His grandkids remember having all kinds of fishing trips with him and just being thrilled to be a part of the experience.
"He loved animals and one of my favourite memories is of him sitting in front of the television with his all-white cat, Snowy, perched on his lap. When he moved to Jamaica, he made sure that dogs and cats were always a part of his household," his grandniece, Donna Anderson, revealed.
Keith Richards is gone, but will never be forgotten. May his soul rest in peace.
