Health Minister Dr Christopher Tufton has explained that the country’s seventh H1N1 death was not a new case.

He says the person had died some time ago, but the test results were only recently received by the health ministry.

He says that death was recorded before that of the last fatal case in which Dr Denise Duncan Goffe died at the University Hospital of the West Indies on March 19.

Duncan Goffe was the second doctor to die as a result of the virus.
