Police offer $200,000 reward for info on 'QQ' in St Ann double murder
The St Ann’s Bay Police have offered a $200,000 reward for information leading to the capture of a 50-year-old man who is wanted for a double murder.
The wanted man is Brian Forbes, otherwise called ‘QQ’, of Drumily District in Claremont, St. Ann.
The police say he is known to frequent the New Hall community in the parish.
Forbes is wanted in connection with the April 25, 2015 murder of 15-year-old Amoya Brown and 25-year-old Demari Smith.
The police say on the morning of the murders, a dispute developed between Forbes and his neighbour, allegedly about a noise disturbance.
During the dispute, a machete was used to inflict several chop wounds to Amoya and Smith.
The police were summoned and residents helped the two victims to hospital, where they died while being treated.
The police are asking anyone knowing the whereabouts of Brian Forbes to call the St. Ann’s Bay Police at 972-2211, Crime Stop at 311, Kingfish at 811, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest Police Station.
