The Hayes Police in Clarendon have launched a search for a man who shot three persons, killing one, at a bar in the community last night.

The dead man has been identified as 30-year-old Stephen Sammon otherwise known as 'Sabbo', who is of a Corn Piece address in the parish.

The two other injured men remain in hospital.

It’s reported that about 8 o’clock last night a lone gunman walked into the bar and opened fire hitting three patrons.

The gunman then fled the scene in a waiting silver motor vehicle.

The injured men were taken to hospital where Sammon was pronounced dead.
