Flow says members of the public can call its hotline at 1-888-922-4357 to report acts of vandalism or sabotage of the company’s equipment.

Telecommunication company, FLOW Jamaica, is offering rewards to persons who can give information leading to the arrest and conviction of persons who vandalise its fibre cables.

Flow says members of the public can call its hotline at 1-888-922-4357 to report acts of vandalism or sabotage of the company’s equipment.

The telecoms company says it remains very concerned about the increasing number of attacks on its fibre cables.

It says the most recent incident occurred this week when vandals cut its cables in the Hope Pastures area of St Andrew.

It says the damage resulted in an outage of broadband, telephone and cable services that affected 320 customers.

Flow says the services were subsequently restored.

The telecoms company says these deliberate actions affect customers and negatively impact its business.
