Security Minister to host town hall meeting in May Pen

National Security Minister Robert Montague has said he is using the town hall meetings to give citizens the opportunity to ask questions, air their concerns, and make suggestions to deal with crime.

National Security Minister, Robert Montague, will hold the next in his series of  town hall meetings in May Pen, Clarendon, this afternoon.

The meeting in May Pen is his second since taking office.

It comes almost three weeks after one held in Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland last month.

This afternoon’s meeting will take place at St Gabriel’s Anglican Church Hall at 10 Church Street.

It’s scheduled to start at 5:30.

The national security minister has said he is using the town hall meetings to give citizens the opportunity to ask questions, air their concerns, and make suggestions to deal with crime.

The meeting also gives the Ministry of National Security and the security forces, the opportunity to share with residents, the programmes and strategies being implemented in the fight against crime and violence.
