US rapper The Game to launch weed-infused fizzy drinks line
A couple days after actress Whoopi Goldberg announces a weed product line to combat period pain, hip-hop star The Game is to release his own range of cannabis-infused fizzy drinks.
The 36-year-old rapper has confirmed that he is working in conjunction with G FarmaBrands, a US-based company that specialise in marijuana infused products, to release lemonades mixed with cannabis oil.
For adults only, the products will be available in California and Washington states in line with the laws, Metro reported.
Named G Drinks, the beverages will be lemonades varieties of original, pink and strawberry, infused with the company’s Liquid Gold cannabis oil.
Speaking of the collaboration, Ata Gonzalez, founder of G FarmaBrands told Billboard: "As an award-winning recording artist, star and icon, The Game embodies the true spirit of the marijuana culture. He understands the plant and is a firm believer in us as a company and our dedication to setting the industry standard through quality and innovation."
The Game added: "These guys are the pioneers of innovation in the cannabis industry. I’m excited to help raise awareness for G Drinks in all territories that we are available."
