Police Constable Lincoln McKoy has been found guilty of killing his girlfriend Jessica King at the Errol Flynn Marina in Portland.
The verdict of the seven-member jury was handed down in the Home Circuit Court a short while ago.
The jury deliberated for 45 minutes.
Prosecutors led evidence that in August 2013, King was shot in the forehead and neck from almost point blank range and that McKoy then used his service pistol to shoot himself twice.
McKoy, however, denied any involvement in King's death or that he shot himself.
He is to be sentenced on April 29.
