Bad gas report in final stages of completion – Energy Minister

Energy Minister Dr Andrew Wheatley says he expects to receive a copy of the report next weak.

Energy Minister Dr Andrew Wheatley says the much anticipated bad gas report is in the final stages of completion.

According to Wheatley, he expects to receive a copy of the report next weak.

Last month an interim report on the bad gas saga was submitted to Cabinet by the Petroleum Trade Reform Committee.

However, Wheatley said the findings of the interim report were inconclusive.

The island's motorists have been anticipating the bad gas report which is expected to name gas stations across the island which sold contaminated fuel to motorists late last year.

The bad gas, believed to have been a mixture of more than one type of fuel, is said to have caused damage to many motor vehicles islandwide.
