All set for seventh Middle Managers Conference
Make Your Mark Consultants (MYMC) will host the Middle Managers Conference 2016, set for Tuesday April 26 and Wednesday April 27 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.
The theme for the staging is 'Grow Your ... People. Product. Potential'. Participants will benefit from the 14 speakers and presentations scheduled for sessions presented by leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs and academics.
Among the day one presentations is 'Leadership Lessons from Purpose Driven Leaders'. This session will have presentations from renowned business people, namely Jennifer McDonald, CEO of the Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency, Derrick 'Ricky' Mahfood, chairman of the DML Group (Hawkeye and Ranger Security), and Courtney Campbell, recently appointed president of Victoria Mutual Building Society. Another informative session 'How do I Manage Conflict, Anger and Stress While Empowering Employees', will be led by Dr Rudolph Stevens, executive director, Womens Health Network.
Day two of the conference is equally informative with presentations including 'Getting the Best from a Multi-Generational, Cultural and a Diverse Workforce'. This will be led by BB Coke, business risk and HR director at Genji LLC, a subsidiary of Peace Dining Corporation, and is the largest sushi provider to Whole Foods Market, serving the eastern US, California and the United Kingdom. Mark Chisholm, executive vice-president, individual life at Sagicor Life Jamaica, is also expected to present on 'Making the Case with Innovative and Effective Presentations and Sales'. Other presenters scheduled include William Mahfood, president of the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica, Patrice DaCosta, president of Stoosh Images USA, and Elon Parkinson, head of public relations at Digicel Jamaica.
The Middle Managers Conference, now in its seventh year, is the brainchild of CEO of MYMC, Jacqueline Coke-Lloyd. The overall conference focus is to facilitate personal and professional development of middle managers, considered one of the most important groups in society. Past presenters have included Boss Furniture's Omar Azan, Proven Wealth CEO Chorvelle Johnson as well as several international speakers.
