Best of FLOW, C&W Business at Expo
Much like the impressive displays of locally manufactured goods, telecommunications firm FLOW and its sister company, C&W Business, title sponsors of recently concluded Expo Jamaica 2016, led the way for consumer technology prowess and business solutions at the event, which featured more than 450 exhibitors.
Through partnerships with international brands Huawei and HBO, as well as local execution agencies, FLOW's futuristic booth design was a creative backdrop to the spectacular spread of the latest devices, next-generation visual experiences and innovative content presented by the company to the 16,000 patrons in attendance over four days.
Fans of the HBO Series, Game of Thrones, were given a first-hand look of that world as FLOW brought their favourite content closer through a 4D virtual tour powered by Oculus - a visual-enhancement device.
The display attracted many eyes as well was an interactive hologram projection featuring Dr Sanneta Myrie, Miss Jamaica World 2015.
The hologram welcomed visitors to the FLOW booth as patrons gathered to take photographs while marvelling at the innovative effort.
Huawei, which has aggressively established a brand presence in Jamaica, collaborated with FLOW to present the latest in its product line of mobile phones and accessories. These included the recently released Huawei Mate 8 device, which has received rave reviews internationally.
Carlo Redwood, head of marketing and products at FLOW, noted that the company also used the opportunity to demonstrate its leading position as a true quad-play and technology company.
"Through this year's Expo, we showed Jamaica that the best and most sought-after advances in technology and innovation are available through FLOW.
"From a business-communication perspective, C&W Business offers cutting-edge solutions backed by a robust network and proven experience to local firms of all sizes. We support virtually every local industry - bar none," Redwood said.
Both companies sponsored the event to the tune of $6.05 million. The Expo also reached an extensive targeted audience of local, regional and international buyers in more than 25 different countries.
