The Education Ministry says it is now examining the appropriateness of some of the contents included in the Comprehensive Sexuality Education material in some textbooks in schools.

Concerns have been raised about the content in a petition started by the Jamaica Coalition for a Healthy Society.

Director of Corporate Communications in the Ministry of Education, Byron Buckley says Education Minister, Senator Ruel Reid has noted the concerns.

Buckley says Reid is willing to meet with the group to discuss their concerns.
