UPDATE: Identities of men murdered in MoBay market released

The identities of the three men who were shot and killed in Montego Bay last evening have been released.

They are 39-year-old shopkeeper Phillip Binns of Granville district, 25-year-old higgler Gregory Holder of a Dumfries district and 32-year-old higgler Hanson Chambers of Summer Hill, all in St James.

The Montego Bay police reports that they were among patrons at a shop operated by Binns when two men entered and opened fire.

The three men were reportedly rushed to hospital where they were pronounced dead.

The killings bring to six the number of murders recorded in St James this week.
