INDECOM probing 13-year-old boy's death

The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) has launched a probe into the circumstances surrounding the death of 13-year-old J’Quan Forbes on Monday. 

Forbes is the son of a member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.

The incident occurred at their home in Olympic Gardens.

The child, who was a student of the Wolmer's Boys' School, was reportedly shot himself using his father's service pistol.

A team from the Commission visited the incident scene and conducted an initial interview with the concerned officer. 

His hands were swabbed and the scene and the body of the deceased boy were also processed.
