Father surrenders, police question him about death of 3-y-o girl

Police investigators on Thursday spent several hours interrogating Roosevelt 'Timmy' Thomas, the father of the three-year-old St James child believed to have been murdered then left at Dump Up Beach in the parish.

The body of little Lashaunie Thomas, was found on Tuesday morning, sometime after Thomas reportedly called the child’s mother and told her that he was going to kill the child.

Following an appeal to surrender, Thomas reported to the Freeport Police in the company of a pastor on Wednesday night.
