Another member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force attached to the Commissioner’s office in St Andrew has been attacked.

Head of operations for the Clarendon police Superintendent Steve Brown says the policeman and his common-law wife were attacked at their home in Sandy Bay Clarendon last night.

Reports are that the couple was chopped by a masked man who entered their premises from nearby bushes.

Both victims were taken to the May Pen Hospital where the woman was treated and released, while the policeman was admitted in a stable condition.

The attack on the policeman comes less than 24 hours after a policewoman attached to the Commissioner’s office was shot six times yesterday morning.
