Security Minister pledges extra resources to hunt policewoman's killers
Security Minister Robert Montague has pledged to give extra resources to hunt those who killed Woman Corporal Judith Williams in East Kingston last week.
Montague, who didn't state what form the extra resources will take, said the commitment was given to Corporal Williams' family when he visited them yesterday.
Montague says he was accompanied by Prime Minister Andrew Holness.
Corporal Williams was killed, while leaving her home for work, by unknown assailants traveling on a motorcycle.
She was assigned to the Commissioner's Office.
Her death has re-ignited concerns about the provision of a viable transportation system to take police officers to and from work.
