SMEs give back to mothers
Custom-order button making company Button It Jamaica is partnering with several other small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to do something special for mothers this Mother's Day.
According to Demola Cunningham, marketing director of Button It, it is hard to compare a good mother's unconditional love, care, compassion, guidance, dedication, commitment and support to anything else.
"When you think of the nurturing care, love and support a mother gives, the strength and courage she provides for her children and family, it makes you want to keep giving and giving back to her, and protect and take care of her as much as she protects and takes care of us," Cunningham said.
"In fact, in my view society is much better off because of the nurturing that a mother offers. There really is nothing like a mother's love."
Representing Brand Jamaica, the SMEs are giving persons who aren't able to buy their mothers a gift a chance to win a Mother's Day gift basket, created with strictly Jamaica-made products.
The only thing persons would have to do is tell why they think their mother should win one of the four specially created gift baskets. Simply text 1-876-796-7666; or email to email@example.com; or follow the sponsors and let them know by: DM, commenting on their social media sites, Whatsapp, Phone Calls - or any means of communication available to you. Submissions end May 7.

"Our intention is to give back to mothers, our country and customers that support small businesses. In fact, we wish we could give something to all the wonderful mothers across Jamaica, because they all deserve to be pampered and treated special all year round," noted Cunningham.
