Digicel Treats Special Moms
In celebration of Mother's Day, Digicel treated special mothers whose children have special needs to a day of pampering and relaxation at the St Patrick's Foundation Spa in Seaview Gardens on Sunday.
The moms received manicures, pedicures, facials and mini-makeovers, and were serenaded by One Third.
Marsha Collins, whose nine-year old son is autistic, travelled from St Mary to take part in the spa day.
"I feel like a queen today!" Collins declared. "I've never had a facial before, so it was definitely one of the highlights for me. But, overall, I really enjoyed this break."
Wenise Davis, general manager for Consumer Mobile at Digicel, said, "Through the Digicel Foundation's extensive work with the special-needs community in Jamaica, we've found that some of the most unsung heroes are the ones who make the sacrifices and go above and beyond to ensure that their child gets everything they need."
