Patch work started on Morant Bay to Cedar Valley main road

A company hired by the National Works Agency started applying marl to the Morant Bay to Cedar Valley main road.

 The protests for better roads by St Thomas taxi operators yielded some results today.

A company hired by the National Works Agency (NWA) started applying marl to the Morant Bay to Cedar Valley main road.

However, Vice-President of the St Thomas Taxi Association, Rohan Douglas, says the taxi operators need more than the application of marl to the roadway.

Meanwhile, attendance at Seaforth High School was severely affected by the protests this morning as teachers reported having to merge classes because of the few students who showed up for school.

However, all CXC candidates were reportedly present for exams.
