The police say the third person abducted along with a Hanover couple that was murdered yesterday, has been placed in protective custody.

The man who was shot, managed to escape from his abductors.

However, 56-year-old Balford 'Fire Bird' Gordon and his wife, 45-year-old Aletta Brown-Gordon were shot dead.

They were found in a secluded section of a community called Mosquito Cove near their home in Elgin Town.

The police say on Wednesday night, Gordon and a man were outside his house cleaning his coaster bus when they were pounced on by a gunman, who forced them inside the house where his wife was.

The three were reportedly taken from the house in the bus.

The vehicle was found abandoned that night and the couple's bodies were found with gun shot wounds yesterday morning.
