Unpaid Royalton workers demand wages

Workers at the Royalton Hotel site in Negril, Hanover, where a collapse of a section of the construction injured five men two weeks ago, are reportedly upset.

According to reports, the workmen have not received their wages and have converged on the site demanding their money.

It’s understood that some of the workers have become boisterous as they press for their demands to be met.

Some of the men have reportedly blocked the entrance to the site using furniture.

Work was halted at the site following the collapse earlier this month after checks revealed that the company had breached several permits.
