People’s National Party (PNP) senator Mark Golding is dismissing suggestions he says are being made that he does not have a good relationship with the president of the party, Portia Simpson Miller.

Speaking at a political meeting in Trench Town in St Andrew, last night, Golding said rumours have been floating around that he does not love Simpson Miller.

He also says persons had posted a photo of him warning people to beware.

However, Golding says he and Simpson Miller developed a strong chemistry while he was campaigning on behalf of Dr Omar Davies in the race for leadership of the party in 2005.

He says since then he has been loyal to Simpson Miller, who has named him to several important posts, including that of justice minister in the last administration.

Golding also says Simpson Miller has always given him her full support in every post.

He has indicated that the love and respect is not one sided.
