Negril's senior hotelier meets minister
Negril hotelier Doretta Forrester was delighted to meet tourism minister Edmund Bartlett recently. Owner of Caribbean Delight, one of the fine boutique hotels along the coastline of Negril's famous seven-mile beach, Forrester spends much of her time in a wheelchair but has been effectively managing it with strong support from her daughter, Andita, for the past 16 years.
It was one of the many stops made by Bartlett during his recent tour of a section of the famous seven-mile beach to observe resort activities, meet tourists, locals, and operators of businesses there. The tour was followed by a meeting with Negril stakeholders at Couples Swept Away.
