Gleaner journalist Glenroy Sinclair has died

Well-known journalist Glenroy Sinclair has died.

Sinclair, 49, was the assignment coordinator at The Gleaner Company, died this morning at the Kingston Public Hospital after collapsing at work yesterday.

The Gleaner's Editor-in-Chief Garfield Grandison described him as a true professional who was dedicated and committed to journalism.

Grandison says Sinclair always looked out for the welfare of others and served the profession and The Gleaner well.

Sinclair was the main crime reporter for several years and also wrote extensively on motor racing.
