Finance minister to address Jamaicans in the UK
Finance Minister Audley Shaw is to address Jamaicans in the United Kingdom on Wednesday to update them on critical policy and economic issues in Jamaica.
The meeting will take place at 1 Great George Street, Westminster, London, as part of the JN Outlook for the Future series organised by the Jamaica National Building Society and the Jamaican High Commission in the UK.
The event, which gets underway at 6:30 in the evening in the UK, is to be streamed live via www.livestream.com.
Earl Jarrett, general manager of Jamaica National, says the annual forum, which commenced in 2003, provides an opportunity for frank dialogue between government officials and Jamaicans in the Diaspora, who maintain investments and family relations in Jamaica.
