Police seeking public's assistance to ID body found in Spanish Town

The Spanish Town Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a body that was found in Top Bank in Spanish Town, St Catherine on Wednesday morning.

The police say the body is of dark complexion, medium build and has dreadlocks.

The further say it was clad in black shorts and had on an orange armband.

Reports from the Spanish Town Police are that about 8:15 Wednesday morning they were summoned to a section of the community where the decomposing body of a man was seen lying face down on the canal bank with gunshot wounds.

The crime scene was processed and it was removed to the morgue pending a post mortem.
