The Cabinet is to hold further discussions today on the findings contained in the West Kingston Commission of Enquiry report.

The Cabinet received and discussed the more than 900-page document last week before it was tabled in the Parliament and made public last Wednesday.

On Friday, Prime Minister Andrew Holness, met with the Defence Board to discuss the report.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of National Security Robert Montague, the Minister of Justice Delroy Chuck, Attorney General Marlene Malahoo-Forte, the Chief of Defence Staff of the Jamaica Defence Force Major General Antony Anderson, and other Government officials.

The Office of the Prime Minister says the government will soon hold meetings with the Jamaica Constabulary Force, the residents of West Kingston and other stakeholders.

It says those meetings will be aimed at arriving at a final position in relation to the recommendations of the Commission of Enquiry.
