Phillips concerned about absence of board appointments at key agencies

Speaking at a People's National Party meeting in White Horses, St Thomas, Dr Phillips cited the Urban Development Corporation, Development Bank of Jamaica and the Port Authority as to key bodies without board.

The Opposition Spokesman on Finance Dr Peter Phillips has expressed concern that critical state agencies are operating without boards of management more than 100 days after the government took office.

Speaking at a People's National Party meeting in White Horses, St Thomas, Dr Phillips cited the Urban Development Corporation, Development Bank of Jamaica and the Port Authority as key bodies without board.

According to Dr Phillips, the agencies are important to the running of the country and the absence of board appointments is affecting operations.
