Ganja valuing $10m seized in St Elizabeth
The Area Three Narcotics Police are reporting that they have seized 2,000 pounds ganja with an estimated street value of $10 million in Gazeland district, Nain, St Elizabeth.
Investigators say three foreigners were taken into custody during the operation.
They say another premises was searched and two nine-millimeter rounds of ammunition, US$2,000 and $22,000 seized.
The police say three persons were taken into custody in relation to those finds.
They are to be charged under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
The police have withheld the identities of those in custody.
