Konoko Falls earns 2016 Trip Advisor certificate
Konoko Falls, nestled in the hills of St Ann, overlooking the resort area of Ocho Rios, has received a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor, the world's largest travel site.
The achievement celebrates hospitality businesses that have earned great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year. Certificate of Excellence recipients include accommodations, eateries and attractions located all over the world, that continually deliver quality customer experience. Laura Heron, general manager at Konoko Falls, said the certification is a significant achievement for them.
"Since we opened just about one year ago, we have been consistently getting great reviews on our tours. The certification only serves to re-enforce the level of customer service delivery that we offer, and hopefully, we will see an increase in attendance at the attraction," Heron said. She said the certification is an indicator for all industry players to continue to strive to offer great service to their clients.
"With the Internet, it is a very tricky market that we are in now. We have to strive to ensure that our customers are pleased. At the end of the day, it can work for you and work against you, so you have to be alert and very prudent in your operations," she said.
The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and frequency of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews, and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
