The Opposition says it’s concerned by the turn of events in the UK in light of the vote to leave the EU.

Spokesman on Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Dr Morais Guy, says the opposition acknowledges the right of UK citizens to decide their future.

However, Guy says the opposition believes the decision to leave the EU will have negative implications for Jamaica and Jamaicans.

Guy cites issues of trade relations, tourism and pension payments to Jamaicans who have returned home from living in the UK.
