Bartlett attends Patrick Manning's funeral in T&T
Minister of Tourism Edmund Bartlett is in Trinidad and Tobago representing the prime minister at today’s funeral for the late former Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Patrick Manning.
The service started about 10 o’clock at the Holy Trinity Cathedral, Abercromby Street, Port of Spain, Trinidad.
Prime Minister Andrew Holness says Manning was an outstanding Caribbean leader who contributed to regional security and the political and economic development of his country.
Other members of the Government and Opposition have expressed their sadness at Manning’s death.
The former Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister died on Saturday, July 2.
Bartlett will return to Jamaica tomorrow.
