Foreigner nabbed with ganja in honey

A British national is to appear in court on Wednesday to answer to drug charges after being nabbed at the Sangster International Airport in St James.

The police say 64-year-old Everton Dorman, of Eastfield in London, England has been charged with breaches of the Dangerous Drug Act after he was held with two pounds of ganja disguised in bottles of honey as he attempted to board a flight on Wednesday.

The Narcotics Police say about 4:05 that afternoon, they were carrying out checks when Dorman’s luggage was searched and the ganja found. 

He was subsequently taken into custody.

Dorman is scheduled to appear before the St James Parish Court on Wednesday.
