Opposition Leader Portia Simpson Miller has deplored by the killing of a three-year-old girl whose mutilated body was found this morning.

The Opposition leader says Jamaicans must be particularly incensed that children continue to be among the victims of vile and senseless murders.

“All well thinking Jamaicans must deplore and speak out against these gruesome acts of brutality against Jamaica’s children,” said Simpson Miller in a statement this afternoon.

The body of the child was found in Orange Hill, St Ann after she was reported missing on Saturday night.

“I grieve with the parents, family members and the entire community at this senseless killing of one so young. I convey my sincere condolences to her parents at this time of great pain and loss,” Simpson Miller said.
