Two men killed, one hospitalised after car crashes into garbage skip

Two men died after the car they were travelling in crashed into a garbage skip in Little London, Westmoreland early this morning.

They have been identified as 19-year-old Sheldon Campbell and 16-year-old Paul Bowen, both of Kingsvalley Top Lincoln, Grange Hill.

Reports from the Little London police are that about 3:45 a.m., both deceased were travelling in a Nissan Tiida motorcar with another passenger towards Grange Hill when Campbell lost control of the vehicle, which collided with a garbage skip, throwing both Campbell and Bowen from the vehicle.

Both men received serious injuries and were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead. Another passenger, who was in the back seat, has been admitted in stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing.
