NWC seeing decline in water production at St James and St Ann facilities

The National Water Commission (NWC) is reporting that another two of its water supply systems are seeing declines in production.

According to the utility company, there’s a 40-per cent decline in production at the Cambridge Treatment Plant in St James and a 50-per cent decline in production at the Minard well in St Ann.

The NWC says customers served by the facilities will experience either low water pressure or periods of no piped water.

The NWC says its maintenance team is working to restore normal operations at both facilities by Saturday, July 16.
