The Family Worship Centre in Ocho Rios, St Ann, has launched the New Life Proactive School of Ministry, as it seeks to realise its vision that speaks of training and release.

?This is a very important milestone in the life of this organisation which speaks to a section of its vision that emphasises ?training and release? of its members to impact on our nation through increased outreach ministries and evangelism,? said board member, Dr Muriel Scott.

According to Scott, God has opened a door for this aspect of the ministry at Family Worship Centre, where it is seen as a stepping stone to the development of Christian ministry.

?And we are confident that He who has started a good work will cause it to come to completion.?

Board chairman Leo Garel in his message, reminded prospective students that time spent on studying not only enables one to grow in knowledge and wisdom but in maturity which has a critical impact on future ministry.

The school, which was declared open by Pastor Rolston Scott, host pastor of Family Worship Centre, is affiliated with Leverage University, Montego Bay, and will not be restricted to members of that church but also from other ministries.
