Member of Parliament for South East St Ann Lisa Hanna and former tourism minister Dr Wykeham McNeill have confirmed that they are still in the race for one of the four vice-president (VP) posts in the People's National Party (PNP).

PNP VP Dr Fenton Ferguson had recently expressed confidence that he will be re-elected at the upcoming PNP conference in September.

The other potential contenders are Mayor of Kingston Angela Brown-Burke and former local government minister Noel Arscott.

Nominations for PNP president and the four vice presidents opened last week and will close on Wednesday.
