Decomposing male body found in Scarlett Hall, St Ann

The Runaway Bay Police in St Ann are probing the discovery of the decomposing body of a man in Scarlett Hall in the parish.

The police say the body which appeared to be in its early 50s was discovered about 45 p.m. yesterday.

They say the body of the unidentified man is about 5'8" long and was clad in a brown and white T-shirt, and short black pants.

The police say the body was found by residents in the area who smelled a foul odour.

The police is asking anyone with information who can assist in identifying the body to come forward.
