The Barbados-based Caribbean Development Bank is to launch a multimillion-dollar programme tomorrow to help the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) better measure poverty.

The CDB says the US$2.8 million Enhanced Country Poverty Assessment Programme is also designed to assist other Caribbean countries in improving their capacity to measure poverty.

The OECS groups the islands of Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, St Kitts-Nevis, Anguilla and the British Virgin Islands.
