The National Water Commission says repairs are now completed for the broken water main along Marcus Garvey Drive in Kingston.

The NWC says its team was able to complete the emergency works ahead of schedule and is now in the process of restoring service to the affected areas along Marcus Drive from Three Miles up to West Street.

In addition, the utility company says repairs have been completed for a broken 21 inch main that serves the Seaview Treatment Plant.

It says water is now being restored to the affected areas of Stony Hill, Golden Spring, Jacks Hill, Stilwell Road, Lawrence Tavern, Tavistock, Mannings Hill, Bridgemount and Sunset Avenue.
