The Manchester police are now trying to find a medical doctor and her boyfriend, who have been missing since last Friday.

The woman, 28-year-old Chanique Cousins, is employed at the Mandeville Regional Hospital and is from Mike Town District in Manchester.

Her boyfriend, 42-year-old Winston Davidson, is said to be a teacher of a prominent high school in Kingston.

Head of the Manchester Police, Superintendent Vendolyn Cameron-Powell, says early investigations reveal that the two were last seen leaving the Mike Town community in a white motor vehicle.

Cameron-Powell says on the day Cousins went missing she called the Mandeville Regional Hospital and reported that she had a family emergency and could not report to work until Monday of this week.

She says the hospital alerted the police when Cousins did not report for work on Emancipation Day.

Cameron Powell says the Manchester police are working with their colleagues in Kingston to try to find the missing couple.

She is urging persons who may know of their whereabouts to contact the Mandeville police or the nearest police station.
