The nation's leading trade and investment agency, JAMPRO, has officially thrown its support behind CanEx Jamaica, the planned massive international conference on ganja.

CanEx Jamaica is being planned as a unique conference that will bring together leaders in the cannabis market for a comprehensive overview of the rapidly expanding market area of research and development in this field.

The conference will be held on September 2 at the Montego Bay Convention Centre. It will feature an international speaker line-up and showcase the very best state-of-the-art grow facilities, technology, branding and political advocacy.

"Quality, qualified, and quantifiable information are essential to the successful development of an industry. Given the fact that the cannabis industry is in its infancy in Jamaica, a conference such as CanEx Jamaica will, no doubt, serve as a catalyst as well as a reservoir for the kind of information needed to drive investments in this sector," said Conrad Robinson, manager of JAMPRO's Western Regional Office.

CanEx will focus on the North American, Latin American, and Caribbean cannabis landscape with key insight for those looking to invest in and be an integral part of the burgeoning market.
