The Manchester police have intensified their search for the missing Mandeville doctor and her boyfriend after getting reports that they have been seen several times since they disappeared last week.

Twenty-eight-year-old Chanique Cousins from Mike Town District in the parish was reported missing by her colleagues at the Mandeville Regional Hospital when she didn't turn up for work.

Her boyfriend has been identified as 42-year-old Winston Davidson who is said to be a teacher at a prominent high school in Kingston.

Last week the police appealed for persons who may know of the couple's whereabouts to contact them.

Head of the Manchester police Superintendent Vendolyn Cameron Powell says since then, several persons have reported that they have seen the couple.

The couple was earlier reported to have been last seen leaving the Mike Town community in a white motor vehicle.

Cameron Powell says the Manchester police are working with their colleagues in Kingston to try to find the missing couple.
