Tastee explains New Kingston branch closure by public health officials
The Management of Tastee Limited says its New Kingston Branch reopened for business this afternoon following yesterday's closure which was ordered by the Public Health Department.
In a release today, Tastee Limited said public health officials examined its New Kingston branch last Friday and made specific recommendations for improving the infrastructure.
The company says all the recommended alterations were completed yesterday.
When contacted, Marketing & Public Relations Manager at Tastee, Tara Goulbourne said she could not disclose the infrastructure changes that were recommended.
However, Tastee says the closure of its New Kingston branch by public health officials was the first such instance in the company's 50-year history.
