In 2013, the NHT acquired Outameni for $180 million in a deal that was heavily criticised by people who argued that the business was outside of the mandate of the trust.

The National Housing Trust (NHT) has again advertised the Outameni attraction in Trelawny for sale, after a previous attempt failed to get a buyer.

In 2013, the NHT acquired Outameni for $180 million in a deal that was heavily criticised by people who argued that the business was outside of the mandate of the trust.

Since then, the Trust has tried unsuccessfully to offload the attraction.

Last September, the property was advertised for sale, but there were no takers.

The NHT has now gone back to the market offering the nine-acre Orange Grove property for sale or lease.

Interested persons have until October 14 to submit an offer.
