'Livity' Coke among persons of interest to surrender to police
Four of the people named as persons of interest last Friday during police press conference held at Harman Barracks in Kingston have turned in themselves.
They are: Andrew Leighton Coke, also known as ‘Livity’; Lancaster Coke, alias Bamma T’; Mawaldi Harley, affectionetely called Waldie’; and Uriel James, also known as ‘Rooksie’.
However, head of the Constabulary Communication Unit Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay says Aaron Thompson, who is the fifth person of interest, and a number of wanted men who were also named, are still yet to report.
Lindsay says based on investigations, the persons are believed to be off the island.
In response to a recent flare-up of violence throughout the Corporate Area, Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of crime, Ealan Powell, and other senior officers from the Area Four police division, had given the individuals until noon yesterday to surrender.
